About The Role

We are hiring an SDE I Developer to work closely with senior engineers and the CTO on production systems.

This is a strong learning-oriented role with real ownership. You will contribute to backend services and, where needed, frontend integrations that power live features used by thousands of users daily.

You wont be working in isolation youll ship production code with mentorship, structured reviews, and collaborative decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend services used in production
• Build APIs and integrate them with frontend systems
• Implement features end-to-end with guidance from senior engineers
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code
• Assist in optimizing database queries and backend workflows
• Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions
• Debug and help resolve production issues
• Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams

Required Skills (Must Have)

• intermediate experience with Node.js and Express.js
• Working knowledge of TypeScript
• Understanding of PostgreSQL fundamentals
• Familiarity with Git / GitHub workflows
• Experience building APIs or backend services (internships/projects acceptable)
• Understanding of async programming and backend fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving mindset

Good To Have (Bonus)

• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks
• Exposure to Redis or caching concepts
• Understanding of WebSockets or real-time systems
• Familiarity with REST API design principles
• Experience deploying projects to cloud platforms

Technology & Learning Expectations

This role is about building engineering depth.
