Senior Software Engineer .NET / C# (ASP.NET Core, MVC)

Bangalore (Work from Office)

Travel within India as required for meetings, workshops, or project needs.

As a Senior Software Engineer , you will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling high-performance web applications. You will work with modern .NET technologies to deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions that support fast-growing digital commerce and financial services platforms.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, bringing both technical excellence and strong ownership to everything you build.

• Build & Enhance Applications
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using ASP.NET Core, MVC, C#, and Entity Framework .
• API & Integrations
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support internal systems and third-party integrations, especially within financial services ecosystems.
• Database & Performance Optimization
• Write efficient SQL queries, optimize stored procedures, and ensure high performance and scalability on SQL Server .
• UI Development
• Implement responsive, intuitive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery .
• Code Quality & Best Practices
• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and contribute to clean, maintainable, and well-tested codebases.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
• Maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and system architecture to ensure continuity and scalability.
• Mentorship & Collaboration
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, and C#
• Proven experience building and scaling enterprise-level web applications
• Strong experience working with cross-functional stakeholders

• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC
• Solid experience with SQL Server (stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning)
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3 , and modern UI practices

• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Ability to take ownership and deliver results end-to-end
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
