As an SDE-1 (Backend) at Licious, you will:

Write clean, readable, maintainable, and bug-free code under guidance

Work on backend features and modules while learning scalable system design

Assist in Low Level Design (LLD) and gain exposure to High Level Design (HLD)

Solve problems using appropriate data structures and algorithms

Debug, test, and improve existing services and APIs

Collaborate closely with senior engineers to understand best practices

Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks

We hope that you

Have 12 years of experience in backend development

Have a good foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms and problem solving

Are comfortable working with Java and backend frameworks like Spring Boot / JPA

Understand OOP concepts and basic backend design principles

Have working knowledge of SQL and exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus

Are familiar with REST APIs and backend service development

Have basic understanding of unit testing and debugging

Exposure to AWS / cloud concepts is a bonus but not mandatory

Hold a BE / BTech or equivalent degree
