Job Summary: Scrum of Scrums (SoS)

The Enterprise Scrum of Scrums (SoS) Master is a high-impact leadership role responsible for synchronizing complex, cross-functional initiatives across the entire organization. Unlike a traditional Scrum Master focused on a single team, this individual operates at the intersection of the CEOs Office, Marketing, Sales, and Product Development. The primary goal is to ensure strategic alignment, remove enterprise-level blockers, and maintain a unified cadence between technical delivery and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Synchronization: Facilitate the Enterprise Scrum of Scrums, bringing together representatives from Dev Leads, Marketing, Sales, and the CEOs Office to ensure all departments are moving toward the same quarterly and annual objectives.
• Executive Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between the execution teams and the CEOs Office, translating technical progress into business impact and ensuring the executive vision is actionable at the team level.
• Cross-Functional Dependency Management: Identify and resolve complex dependencies between technical development (Dev) and go-to-market functions (Marketing/Sales) to ensure product launches are supported by robust sales enablement and marketing campaigns.
• Enterprise Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and escalate systemic bottlenecks that hinder organizational velocity, working directly with department heads to streamline processes.
• Agile Governance & Metrics: Establish and monitor enterprise-level KPIs (e.g., Time-to-Market, Say/Do ratios, Cross-functional Lead Time) to provide a transparent view of organizational health to the leadership team.
• Change Management: Foster a culture of agility and continuous improvement across non-technical departments, coaching Marketing and Sales leaders on iterative planning and feedback loops

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in Agile leadership roles, with at least 3 years experience in a "Scrum of Scrums" or "Release Train Engineer" capacity at an enterprise level.
• Business Acumen: Proven ability to speak the language of both software engineers and C-suite executives; deep understanding of Sales cycles and Marketing funnels is essential.
• Framework Expertise: Advanced certification in Scaled Agile (SAFe), , or LeSS is highly preferred.
• Communication: Exceptional negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Technical Literacy: Sufficient understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to effectively facilitate discussions with Dev Leads and understand technical constraints
