About the Job:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery across multiple cross-functional engineering teams. This Individual Contributor role requires a strong engineering background, deep Agile expertise, and the ability to drive delivery excellence at scale.

The ideal candidate will combine servant leadership, technical acumen, and strategic thinking to enable teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions while fostering a high-performance Agile culture.

Job Responsibilities:

Agile Leadership & Delivery

• Lead 23 cross-functional Agile teams through Scrum ceremonies and Agile best practices.
• Remove impediments, ensure team alignment, and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure sprint commitments, release plans, and delivery timelines are consistently met.
• Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, cycle time, and predictability.

Technical Guidance

• Facilitate technical discussions, architecture reviews, and engineering planning sessions.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, and architects to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Support teams in implementing modern engineering and DevOps practices.
• Translate complex technical challenges into actionable execution plans for teams.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Provide transparency on team progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage expectations and promote data-driven decision-making.

Coaching & Mentorship

• Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile mindset, frameworks, and execution excellence.
• Mentor junior Scrum Masters and help scale Agile practices across the organization.
• Foster a culture of ownership, autonomy, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Delivery Lead.
2. Strong technical background in software engineering, systems architecture, or mobile banking platforms.
3. Expert knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
4. Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
5. Proven track record delivering complex, multi-team software products.
6. Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
7. Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM II/III, SAFe SPC/RTE, or PMI-ACP.
• Knowledge of microservices, APIs, cloud-native architecture, and DevOps pipelines.
• Experience with distributed systems or large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to data engineering, AI/ML, or cybersecurity is an added advantage.
• Ability to influence without authority and lead in matrix organizations.
