Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support the execution of a complex, multi-team AI engineering program. This role will enable agile delivery across data science, machine learning, and cloud engineering teams, ensuring smooth collaboration, transparency, and high-quality AI feature releases at scale.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing agile ceremonies in technically complex environments, particularly those involving AI/ML lifecycle dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Process Leadership

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure agile best practices are consistently followed across multiple cross-functional squads.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery quality, team productivity, and collaboration.
• Track velocity, sprint metrics, and delivery predictability.

Program Coordination

• Coordinate across Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Product Managers, Platform, and Design teams.
• Maintain visibility into workstreams, dependencies, risks, and blockers.
• Support roadmap alignment, sprint forecasting, and AI feature release planning.
• Manage cross-team dependencies within large technical programs.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Provide transparent reporting on sprint progress, capacity utilization, and KPIs.
• Facilitate alignment on priorities and delivery timelines.
• Support adoption of new agile practices and tooling improvements.

Risk Management & Governance

• Proactively identify delivery risks, technical blockers, and resource constraints.
• Ensure compliance with data security, model governance, and operational standards for AI systems.
• Maintain documentation of ceremonies, decisions, and delivery artifacts.
• Support governance reporting for enterprise AI initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
• Experience supporting Data Science, ML, AI, or Cloud Engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle (data ingestion, model training, validation, deployment, monitoring).
• Advanced knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS).
• Excellent stakeholder communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience working in large, cross-functional technical programs.
