Project Role : Scrum Master
Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary: As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Your typical day will involve coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team(s), facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies, and identifying and reporting progress via appropriate metrics. Roles & Responsibilities: - Implement Project Management/Best Practices - Keep all Parties on Track and Informed - Introduce Agile Engineering Practices - Coach Team Members - Host Daily Stand-up Meetings - Teach Scrum Practices and Principles - Coach and mentor the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. - Facilitate scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Identify and report progress via appropriate metrics, ensuring that the team is meeting its goals and objectives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and quality assurance, to ensure that the team is delivering high-quality software on time and within budget. - Continuously improve the team's processes and practices, leveraging Agile methodologies and best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - A Scrum Master demands a wide range of technical skills. - A successful Scrum Master must possess a strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework, proficiency in project management tools and software, knowledge of software development principles, problem-solving and analytical abilities, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to continuous learning. - By acquiring and honing these technical skills, a Scrum Master can effectively guide and empower teams to achieve project success in an Agile environment. - Must To Have Skills: Strong understanding of Scrum methodologies and Agile principles. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile project management tools such as JIRA or Trello. - Effective communication, proficient team management, and engaging team building activities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Proven track record of successfully leading Agile software development teams, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master. - Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to identify and address issues in a timely and effective manner. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Scrum methodologies and Agile principles. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
