Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary: As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Your typical day will involve coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team(s), facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies, and identifying and reporting progress via appropriate metrics. Roles & Responsibilities: - Coach and mentor the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. - Facilitate scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Identify and report progress via appropriate metrics, ensuring that the team is meeting its goals and delivering high-quality software on time. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure that the team is aligned and working towards a common goal. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in Avanade Scrum Project Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and other related project management tools. - Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Experience in coaching and mentoring teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering high-quality software. - Ability to identify and mitigate risks, and to manage project timelines and budgets effectively. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Avanade Scrum Project Management. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering successful software projects using Agile methodologies. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
