Project Role Description : Act as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile Methodology. Is also a custodian for the Agile process and ensures all scrum processes are used as intended. Protects the team, removes barriers to successful implementation, and keeps them focused on the task at hand. Helps the Product Owner maximize productivity. Maintain the backlog and release plans, publish reports to ensure the product owner is updated about the teams progress.

Summary: As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile Methodology. Your typical day will involve acting as a custodian for the Agile process, ensuring all scrum processes are used as intended, removing barriers to successful implementation, and keeping the team focused on the task at hand. Roles & Responsibilities: - Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Act as a coach and mentor to the team, helping them to understand and implement Agile principles and practices. - Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is well-groomed and prioritized, and that the team is delivering value to the customer. - Identify and remove impediments that are preventing the team from achieving their goals, and escalate issues to management when necessary. - Track and report on team progress, using metrics such as velocity and burn-down charts to help the team continuously improve. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong knowledge of Agile principles and practices, with experience in Agile Project Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Agile Program Management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. - Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile Central. - Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Agile Project Management. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering successful Agile projects. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
