Scientific Outreach Specialist

The Role

JoVE is seeking a Science Outreach Specialist to design and deliver live global webinars and outreach campaigns that demonstrate how JoVEs video-based resources can be effectively integrated into Engineering and Physics undergraduate courses.

This position is ideal for a science enthusiast who enjoys presenting, and networking, and who is excited to collaborate with both academic audiences and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live webinars and presentations demonstrating how JoVE can be used in undergraduate Engineering and Physics courses
• Identify potential customers and new academic leads through market and customer research
• Drive lead generation and JoVE adoption through global outreach activities, including webinar delivery, email marketing campaigns and social media engagement
• Design and implement targeted outreach and marketing campaigns for academic audiences
• Analyze and optimize campaign performance to improve customer engagement and lead conversion
• Track and report engagement metrics to continuously improve outreach strategies and workflows

Requirements

• PhD or Masters in Engineering, Physics or relevant disciplines
• Experience in teaching, outreach, marketing, or sales is a plus
• Strong oral and written English skills , with the ability to deliver engaging presentations
• Comfortable presenting to global academic audiences in a virtual setting
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
• Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools is a plus
