We value candidates who:

• plan and implement a comprehensive counselling programme to support students emotional, social, and behavioural well-being
• provide individual and group counselling, conduct assessments for psychological issues not for the purpose of a formal diagnosis but for planning intervention within the school system, and designing programmes that foster resilience, positive relationships, and life skills.
• manage referrals, maintain case records, organize workshops for students and parents, train staff in counselling-related areas, and coordinate with external professionals when needed.
• liaison with reputed organizations & experts to organize training workshops for students in life skills & other areas such as, Developmental Changes in Adolescence, Reproductive Health and Substance Abuse.
• support the development of school-wide policies and restorative practices that promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school climate.
• play a vital role in supporting transitions, addressing behavioural challenges, and contributing to the schools overall mental health framework and well-being policy.
• focus on promoting resilience, personal growth, and well-being of students through a structured Learning Together curriculum
• plan and conduct Growing Up Years (GUY) sessions for students and parents

Essential Skills & Qualification:

• A Graduate/Post-Graduate in Psychology, or
• Post-Graduate in Child Development, or
• Graduate/Post-Graduate with Diploma in Career Guidance & Counselling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
