SAP WM Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Warehouse Management Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP WM solutions, with the ability to analyze business requirements, configure the SAP WM module, and integrate it with other SAP modules. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to delivering high quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and design SAP WM solutions tailored to client needs.
• Configure and customize the SAP WM module, including storage types, bins, and putaway/picking strategies.
• Integrate the WM module with MM, SD, and other relevant SAP modules to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop functional specifications for enhancements and collaborate with the ABAP team for implementation.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality.
• Provide comprehensive end user training and create detailed documentation for reference.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP WM related issues promptly to minimize disruption.
• Support go live activities and assist with post implementation tasks to ensure successful project delivery.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) module configuration and customization.
• Strong understanding of integration between SAP WM and other modules such as MM and SD.
• Ability to develop functional specifications and work collaboratively with technical teams.
• Experience in conducting unit testing, integration testing, and supporting UAT.
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot SAP WM issues effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its impact on warehouse management processes.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with ABAP programming for functional enhancements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to train end users effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in SAP WM consulting or related roles.
• Relevant SAP certifications in Warehouse Management are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
