SAP WM

We are looking for an experienced Senior TechnoFunctional Consultant with deep expertise in SAP Material Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Manufacturing (PP/MFG & QM).

The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of hands-on SAP experience, strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, and proven capability in integrating SAP with thirdparty applications, including inventory planning & forecasting tools.

Industry experience in consumer electrical / appliances manufacturing will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP Functional & Technical Expertise

• Lead functional design, configuration, and implementation of SAP MM, WM, and manufacturing modules.
• Configure and optimize processes including procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations, production planning, and shopfloor execution.
• Prepare and validate Functional Specifications for enhancements, custom developments, interfaces, BADI, BAPI, and IDocs.
• Provide deep techno-functional support, including debugging assistance and solution troubleshooting.

2. Integration & ThirdParty System Coordination

• Collaborate closely with ABAP, Basis, infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure seamless and reliable interfaces.
• Manage API, middleware, and IDoc-based integration landscapes.

3. Business Engagement & Solution Delivery

• Engage with business SMEs to understand requirements, define solution designs, and deliver optimized process improvements.
• Facilitate UAT, SIT, integration testing, regression testing, and training sessions for business teams.
• Ensure delivery meets timelines, quality standards, and audit/SOX compliance.

4. Operational Support & Governance

• Provide support for SAP MM/WM/MFG modules across all business sites.
• Ensure minimal system disruptions through robust problem resolution and proactive monitoring.
• Maintain documentation including BRDs, SOPs, process flows, and test scripts.

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Recommend and drive digital transformation opportunities in warehouse, procurement, and production operations.
• Enhance inventory accuracy, forecast reliability, material flow efficiency, and production planning performance.
• Benchmark and apply bestpractice processes aligned with the consumer electrical manufacturing industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical & Functional Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM / WM / PP with strong techno-functional capability.
• Expertise in:
• Procurement (P2P), inventory control, stock strategies
• Warehouse processes, put-away/picking, HU management, storage strategies
• Manufacturing processes, BOM/routing, production execution
• Physical inventory, cycle counting, material valuation
• Mandatory experience integrating SAP with:
• Thirdparty WMS/TMS systems
• Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Inventory planning & forecasting tools
• Barcode/RFID handheld and automation systems

Industry Knowledge

• Experience in the consumer electrical, appliances, or manufacturing industry is a significant advantage.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• SAP certifications in MM / WM / PP (preferred but not mandatory).
