Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Utilities Customer Financial Management (FICA) Consultant to join our team in Pune. The role involves designing, building, configuring, and optimizing SAP applications tailored to utility business processes. The candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) , collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure solutions align with business objectives while maintaining high-quality delivery standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP Utilities Customer Financial Management (FICA)
• Design, build, configure, and customize SAP applications to meet business and application requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Lead and manage the team, including ownership of key technical and functional decisions
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to critical project and architectural decisions
• Provide effective solutions to issues impacting the immediate team and cross-functional teams
• Participate in testing, debugging, and issue resolution to ensure application stability and performance
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing and mentoring sessions to enhance team capabilities
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the SDLC

Professional & Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in SAP Utilities Customer Financial Management (FICA)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Utilities FICA
• Experience in SAP configuration and customization to support utility business processes
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in SAP applications

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Utilities Billing (IS-U Billing)
• Exposure to end-to-end utility processes including invoicing, payments, collections, and account management
