Job Description

SAP US Payroll Functional

Mode: Hybrid

Location: Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune, and Chennai

Exp: 10+ years

Key Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for successful end to end delivery and payroll configuration in large scale global projects.This role involves in-depth understanding of processes across various HCM modules and the ability to define various strategies and leading small teams. Practitioner must be able to analyze, map, and transform HR business processes; design target operating models, configure and unit-test SAP/SuccessFactors modules, focusing on US Payroll and integrations, develop and review functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test scenarios and ensure high client satisfaction through quality, communication, and timely delivery.

Experience:

Min 4 yrs in SAP HCM/SuccessFactors

Valid ECP certification is Optional

Key Skills:

4+ years SAP US Payroll experience.

Strong knowledge of US payroll processes

Delivered at least 2 end-to-end implementation projects: experience in large, cross-

functional teams

Lead process discovery: document as-is, design/recommend to-be, and map processes to

SAP/SuccessFactors

Translate business needs into requirements; identify gaps/constraints and recommend

solutions

Configure and unit test relevant SAP/SuccessFactors modules; troubleshoot payroll

schemas/PCRs and resolve errors

Produce/review key documentation (Functional Specs, Configuration Workbooks)

Develop and execute test strategy: scenarios, scripts, cases, data; validate interfaces

(mapping and reconciliation)

US compliance expertise: country-specific tax forms and year-end activities

Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare; coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and

3rd-party vendors

Drive delivery management: clear stakeholder communication, status/RAID management,

change control, and escalations

Own outcomes: estimation and planning, on-time/on-budget delivery, quality controls, and

client satisfaction

Preferred: finance and 3rd-party integration experience (e.g., ADP)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualification: Required B. Tech/B. E/MBA/MCA
