Job Description

TCS is Hiring SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Consultant.

Location: Bengaluru

Experience : 4+


Were looking for an SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) specialist to design, configure, and optimize our core HR processes on the SuccessFactors platform. Youll lead/participate in end-to-end EC implementations and enhancements, align stakeholders, ensure data quality and compliance, and enable HR teams with intuitive, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Delivery

  • Lead/participate in end-to-end EC implementations, rollouts, and enhancements (Requirements Design Build Test Deploy).
  • Configure EC foundational objects (FO/MDF), business rules, workflows, event reasons, associations, picklists, and Role-Based Permissions (RBP).
  • Design and manage Position Management, Time Off, Global Benefits (if in scope), and EC Centralized Services features.
  • Build and maintain integrations with payroll, time, benefits, identity providers, and downstream systems using SAP Integration Suite/CI-DS/ODATA/APIs.

Data & Quality

  • Own data migration mapping, validation, and load activities (templates, import jobs, monitor error logs).
  • Define and execute test strategies (unit, SIT, UAT), defect triage, and cutover planning.
  • Implement guardrails for data privacy, security, and audit-readiness (GDPR/DPDP, SoD, RBP policy).

Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide L2/L3 application support, resolution of incidents, and root cause analysis.
  • Analyze release notes; assess quarterly SuccessFactors releases and drive adoption of relevant features.
  • Maintain solution documentation, configuration workbooks, and SOPs.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and vendors to optimize processes (onboarding to offboarding, org changes, transfers).

Stakeholder & Governance

  • Facilitate workshops, create BRDs/FSDs, and manage stakeholder expectations with clear status reporting.
  • Support global template design and localizations (country-specific fields, compliance, statutory reporting).

Required Qualifications

  • 4-10 Years of hands-on SuccessFactors Employee Central configuration experience.
  • SAP SuccessFactors EC Certification (Associate) strongly preferred; Professional/Lead level for senior roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in:
  • MDF objects, business rules, workflows, Event Reason Derivations.
  • Position Management, Time Off, RBP, Imports, and Data Models.
  • Integrations (SAP Integration Suite/CI-DS, OData, SFTP, APIs) and file-based interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes, organizational structures, and HR data models.
  • Experience with testing frameworks, cutover, and production hypercare.
  • Excellent documentation, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills.
