Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Manager ALM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Solution Manager configuration, Change Request Management (ChaRM), IT Service Management (ITSM), and Solution Documentation. The candidate will work closely with compliance, release management, and technical teams to ensure system change compliance, support audits, and manage end-to-end ALM processes. Experience in migration from Solution Manager to Cloud ALM is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with Compliance and Release Management teams on system change requirements.
• Ensure process compliance across SAP landscapes.
• Support compliance teams on audit-related queries and issue resolution.
• Assist in production release management and troubleshooting release-related issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot SolMan IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Configure SLA, mail forms, organization structure, custom data elements, workflows, and status schemes.
• Support incident, problem, and service request management processes.
• Configure and support Change Request Management (ChaRM).
• Create and manage custom fields and assign them to business roles.
• Configure and maintain status schemes, actions, and conditions.
• Manage change cycles including creation, closure, and transport management.
• Support technical teams on downgrade protection checks.
• Troubleshoot ChaRM-related issues and ensure change compliance.
• Define and modify Logical Component Groups, Technical Systems, and Branches.
• Configure and manage Change Control Landscapes.
• Import SAP Best Practices and Business Process Hierarchy (BPH) schemes.
• Perform Solution Manager setup, managed system configuration, and infrastructure setup.
• Configure and maintain System Landscape Directory (SLD).
• Configure Job Monitoring and System Monitoring.
• Monitor ABAP jobs, system logs, and backup status.
• Configure monitoring for recent log backups and data backups.
• Create and manage job failure monitoring queries for SAP S/4HANA and other SAP systems.
• Manage Solution Manager Projects and Blueprint.
• Configure and maintain Solution Documentation and Process Management.
• Support Best Practice content configuration.
• Perform end-to-end build and post-implementation support activities.
• Support migration activities from SAP Solution Manager to SAP Cloud ALM.
• Assist in setup, configuration, and transition to Cloud ALM environments.

Required Experience

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP Solution Manager ALM.
• Hands-on experience in ChaRM, ITSM, monitoring, and solution documentation.
• Experience in Managed System Configuration and SLD setup.
• Experience in Cloud ALM migration is highly preferred.
