Job Summary:
- Build and lead a high-performing presales organization across geographies
- Establish best practices, frameworks, and reusable solution assets
- Drive innovation in solutioning, including AI, cloud, and digital transformation offerings
- Lead end-to-end presales for large and complex deals (RFPs, RFIs, proactive proposals)
- Own solution architecture, pricing strategy, and commercial models
- Collaborate with delivery, consulting, and practice teams to design winning solutions
- Ensure alignment with customer business outcomes and value realization
Key Responsibilities:
- Presales Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute the global presales strategy aligned with business growth objectives
- Build and lead a high-performing presales organization across geographies
- Establish best practices, frameworks, and reusable solution assets
- Drive innovation in solutioning, including AI, cloud, and digital transformation offerings
- Solutioning & Deal Shaping
- Lead end-to-end presales for large and complex deals (RFPs, RFIs, proactive proposals)
- Own solution architecture, pricing strategy, and commercial models
- Collaborate with delivery, consulting, and practice teams to design winning solutions
- Ensure alignment with customer business outcomes and value realization
- Sales Enablement & Deal Support
- Partner with sales leadership to drive pipeline conversion and win ratios
- Participate in client meetings, executive presentations, and proposal defense
- Support account mining and strategic deal pursuits
- Develop compelling value propositions and storytelling for clients
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders (internal and client-side)
- Collaborate with global delivery, product, alliances, and partner ecosystems
- Work closely with finance and legal teams for commercial governance
5. Capability Building & Innovation
- Build domain-led and industry-specific solution capabilities
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI/GenAI, Cloud, Automation, Data Analytics)
- Develop reusable assets, accelerators, and solution frameworks
- Institutionalize knowledge management and continuous improvement
- Governance & Metrics
- Own presales KPIs: win rate, conversion ratio, deal cycle time, margin improvement
- Ensure compliance with organizational and financial guidelines
- Lead deal reviews, risk assessments, and approval processes
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in IT services (Application, Cloud, ERP, Data, AI/Analytics)
- Proven track record in winning large deals ($10M+ / multi-year engagements)
- Deep understanding of commercial models (T&M, Fixed Price, Managed Services)
- Exceptional storytelling, executive communication, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
- Strategic thinking with hands-on solutioning mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering / Technology; MBA preferred
- 1522 years of experience in IT services, with significant presales leadership experience
- Experience working in global markets (US, Europe, APAC)
Preferred Industry Experience
- Manufacturing, BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Hi-Tech
- Experience in large transformation programs (ERP, Cloud, Digital, AI-led initiatives)
