Avigna is hiring SAP Senior Integration Consultant ABAP HR & CPI

We are looking for a Senior Integration Consultant SAP ABAP HR & SAP CPI to join the team to build, support, and drive customer innovations, bringing efficiency to processes through effective management of cost and schedule. Responsibilities
ABAP HR Development & HR Integrations
- Develop and enhance ABAP HR interfaces, including extractors for HR Infotypes, payroll/time data, and organizational structures.
- Implement BAdIs, User Exits, HR Reports, and custom programs to support complex HR logic.
- Work with IDocs, RFCs, file-based interfaces, and HR-specific data models to enable seamless integration.
- Optimize ABAP code for performance, readability, and long-term maintainability.
SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)
- Design, build, and maintain SAP CPI integration flows for SAP HCM SAP SuccessFactors and other HR systems.
- Perform advanced mapping using XML/JSON, XSLT, and standard CPI transformation tools.
- Develop Groovy scripts to handle complex integration scenarios, validations, and automation logic.
- Ensure high standards of reliability, error handling, reprocessing, and message monitoring.
End-to-End HR Interface Management
- Analyze business and system requirements to design scalable HR integration architectures.
- Customize and extend Business Integration Builder (BIB) content for SuccessFactors Employee Central integrations.
- Support OData/SFAPI integrations and legacy PI/PO flows where required.
- Maintain strong data security, compliance, and authorization concepts.
Migration, Support & Continuous Improvement
- Support HR system migrations, landscape transformations, and rollout programs.
- Proactively monitor jobs, logs, and interface queues, ensuring system stability.
- Continuously improve the integration landscape by identifying optimization opportunities.
Qualification
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP HR, specifically in infotypes, payroll/time data processing, enhancements, and interface frameworks.
- Solid experience in SAP CPI, including IFlows, Groovy scripting, message mappings, and integration patterns.
- Experience working with HR data models, SAP HCM, and SuccessFactors integration concepts.
- Good understanding of BIB configurations, OData/SFAPI integration, XML/JSON structures, and API-based communication.
- Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite components such as API Management and Event Mesh (good to have).
- Strong analytical thinking, solution-oriented approach, and ability to take ownership.
- Experience working with Europeanideally Germancustomers is an advantage.
