SAP SD OTC Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP SDOTC Consultant to join our team and play a strategic role in optimizing and supporting our global automotive supply chain operations. This position is fully remote and focuses on SAP SD configurations and EDI integrations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Youll be a key contributor in shaping mission-critical solutions across customer demand, sales, and logistics execution processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP SD/OTC experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Automotive EDI transactions including:
• 830 (Planning Schedule), 862 (Shipping Schedule / JIT),
• 850 (Purchase Order), 856 (Advance Shipping Notice),
• 810 (Invoice) and related message types.
• Experience in creating EDI mapping specifications and functional design documents.
• Strong SAP SD functional knowledge including:
• Sales Orders, Order Types, Partner Determination
• Copy Controls, Enhancements, and User-Exits
• Logistics Execution (LE), Billing, Retro-Billing, and Complex Pricing
• Familiarity with middleware tools (e.g., IBM Sterling, Boomi, etc.) is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated ability to support production systems and resolve integration issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English fluencyboth written and spoken.
• The selected candidate must demonstrate flexibility to support any SAP project assigned by the organization based on business needs.
• Willingness to travel to client locations during key project phases (e.g., workshops, testing, go-live support) as required by the project or client.

Preferred Education and Other Qualifications

• Requires an Engineering or bachelors degree in information systems
• Experience working with global teams on design, development, and rollouts.
• Exposure to modern API-led connectivity approaches.
• Certification in SAP SD or related modules is a plus.
