Hiring: SAP SD Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong domain expertise in the Real Estate, Construction, or Homebuilding industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to 34 end-to-end SAP implementations and deep functional knowledge of sales, contracting, billing, pricing, and integrations in complex project-based environments.

Key Responsibilities & Expertise Required

1 Sales & Contracting (B2B, B2C, Projects)

• Model unit, tower, phase-based sales and project-driven contracts
• Configure customer contracts, framework agreements, and sales orders
• Strong experience with document types, item categories, schedule lines, and pricing procedures
• Expertise in:
• Milestone-based billing (structure, shell, finishing, possession, etc.)
• Advance and installment plans, retention handling, penalties / LDs
• Price escalation (index-linked), discounts, and rebate structures

2 Billing, Advances & Collections

• Configure milestone billing plans and periodic billing (including RE-FX where applicable)
• Manage cancellations, refunds, resales, and contract amendments with proper audit trails

3 Pricing & Taxation (India Focus)

• Build pricing procedures for real estate scenarios including:
• Base price, floor rise, view/location charges, parking, amenities, possession charges
• Strong understanding of GST (CGST/SGST/IGST), RERA requirements, and TDS/TCS
• Configure tax determination, statutory compliance, and FI integration
• Experience with e-Invoice and e-Way Bill integration (via middleware if applicable)

4 Integration Experience

• PS: Link sales contracts and milestones with WBS/network for progress tracking, revenue recognition, and cost-to-complete reporting
• FI/CO: Revenue posting, down payment handling, and account determination
• MM: Align subcontractor invoicing / RA bills with SD milestones as per commercial terms

5 S/4HANA & Process Excellence

• Hands-on with SAP Fiori apps for sales, billing, and collections
• Enable real-time analytics using CDS views for bookings, collections, ageing, revenue, and pipeline
• Prepare FSD/TSD, test scripts, training material
• Execute SIT/UAT, cutover, post-go-live hypercare
• Ensure internal controls, segregation of duties, and audit readiness

Preferred Profile

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and drive business discussions
• Experience in large-scale SAP S/4HANA programs is a plus
