SAP S/4 FICO Lead – Costing & Controlling

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components. Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building Indias first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU), and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications, and artificial intelligence.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP S/4 FICO Lead (Costing & Controlling) to own and drive our costing strategy across global manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned SAP professional who understands the full depth of Product Costing, Material Ledger, COPA, and endtoend standard cost execution within complex production environments.

What You Will Own

Costing Leadership

• Lead SAP Product Costing, Material Ledger (ML), COPA, and Controlling across plants.
• Drive endtoend Standard Costing cycles (CK11N, CK40N, CK24).

Manufacturing Costing Expertise

• Design costing models for:
• BOMs & Routings
• Activity Types
• Overheads
• Variances
• Support WIP management, settlements, and cost center allocations.

Technology & Integration

• Ensure seamless financial integration with PP, MM, SD, and Blue Yonder.
• Contribute to S/4 HANA & RISE migration initiatives.

Process Excellence

• Standardize costing procedures across global sites.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to improve cost visibility and decision making.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of SAP FICO experience, including S/4 HANA (preferably RISE).
• Deep expertise in Product Costing, ML, COPA, and Controlling.
• Mandatory experience in manufacturing environments (plant-level exposure preferred).
• Solid understanding of BOMs, routings, and production flows.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven business partnering ability.
• Bachelors Degree (Finance/Accounting/Engineering preferred).
