SAP Project System Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a SAP PS Consultant for the product, primarily within the Project Accounting and Project Systems track.
• Understand product features and contribute to the preparation of functional specifications, solution configuration, use case development, and quality testing.
• Develop deep knowledge of SAP PS functional areas including Project Profiles, Network and Activity Profiles, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, Settlement, and Results Analysis (RA) to support product design and enhancement.
• Leverage understanding of enterprise project processes such as Engineer to Order (ETO), Make to Order (MTO), Capital Projects, and Investment Management to inform product use cases and solution design.
• Document test cases and system behavior across multiple SAP client landscapes.
• Execute quality testing across internal systems to troubleshoot customer issues and validate new product features.
• Apply knowledge of SAP PS integration with FI, CO, MM, PP, PM, SD, and HCM to support cross-module product scenarios.
• Support product demonstrations, training workshops, and documentation efforts for both internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in a functional role involving SAP PS product or project delivery, with exposure to at least two end-to-end SAP PS engagements.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS) module. Specifically: Project Profiles, Network and Activity Profiles, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, Settlement, and Results Analysis (RA).
• Working knowledge of SAP Controlling (CO) and Finance (FI) modules from a project accounting perspective, including overhead allocation via Costing Sheets.
• Understanding of enterprise project processes: Engineer to Order (ETO), Make to Order (MTO), Capital Projects, and Investment Management using SAP PS.
• Understanding of integration points between SAP PS, FI, CO, MM, PP, PM, SD, and HCM.
• Experience with QA methodologies, testing cycles, and test case documentation.
• Ability to write clear functional specifications and collaborate within agile product development teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder interaction skills.
