Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and deliver SAP projects across implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and support environments. The ideal candidate will have strong project management capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and handson familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules and processes. The role requires endtoend project governance, planning, execution, and delivery management.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead SAP projects using SAP Activate / ASAP methodologies.
• Manage full project lifecycle: Requirement gathering to GoLive and Hypercare.
• Develop project plans, scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Monitor project KPIs, risks, dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Collaborate with business users, functional teams, development teams, and external vendors.
• Conduct regular status meetings, steering committee reviews, and project health checks.
• Manage onsiteoffshore coordination and team assignments.

Technical/Functional Coordination

• Oversee crossfunctional SAP modules (FICO/MM/SD/PP/WM/ABAP/BASIS).
• Review solution designs, functional specs, technical specs, and RICEF objects.
• Ensure integration alignment and support issue resolutions.

Risk, Change & Quality Management

• Identify risks, issues, and create action/mitigation plans.
• Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and approval.
• Maintain alignment with PMO governance frameworks and compliance requirements.

Cutover, GoLive & Hypercare

• Lead cutover planning, data migration coordination, and business readiness checks.
• Manage golive execution and postgolive support.
• Ensure smooth transition to support/AMS teams during hypercare.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of SAP experience, with minimum 5 years in SAP Project Management.
• Hands-on experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
• Proven success managing SAP Implementation / Rollout / Upgrade projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points.
• Proficiency in project tools: MS Project, JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• SAP S/4HANA implementation or conversion experience.
• SAP Activate / PMP / Prince2 certification.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Retail, Pharma, BFSI, or Healthcare industries.
• Knowledge of SAP PI/PO, CPI, EDI, API integrations.

Education

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
