SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP PaPM Consultant to design, implement, and support advanced profitability, cost allocation, transfer pricing, and tax reporting solutions . The role requires strong finance domain expertise and hands-on experience with SAP PaPM (Cloud and/or On-Premise) , working closely with S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Datasphere in large-scale finance transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP PaPM solutions for cost allocation, transfer pricing, tax reporting, and performance management
• Configure end-to-end PaPM models including calculation rules, allocation rules, functions, and reporting structures
• Design scalable finance and accounting data models for accurate and transparent financial insights
• Analyze current finance data architecture (COA, Cost Centers, Profit Centers) and define future-state target architecture
• Lead integrations between PaPM and SAP S/4HANA, SAC, SAP Datasphere, and BW
• Support tax-related implementations such as BEPS Pillar Two, IAS 12, and Shipping Income
• Develop PaPM assets, rules engines, and custom calculations (Cloud & On-Prem)
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and architecture discussions
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT; resolve defects
• Provide user training, documentation, and production support
• Optimize performance and scalability of PaPM models
• Collaborate with global finance, IT, and business stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP consulting experience in Finance
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PaPM (Cloud and/or On-Premise)
• Strong expertise in:
• PaPM Cost Allocation (TBM / EBM / Recharges)
• Transfer Pricing & Profitability Analysis
• PaPM asset development and rules engine configuration
• Experience with BEPS Pillar Two, IAS 12, or Tax Reporting implementations
• Strong experience in PaPM + S/4HANA integration and finance transformation programs
• Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere / BW
• Strong understanding of financial processes and performance management
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multicultural, global teams
