We are urgently looking for an experienced SAP PRA Senior Consultant to support large-scale digital transformation programs for leading Energy & Utilities clients. This role is ideal for professionals with strong Upstream Oil & Gas domain expertise who can join immediately or on short notice.

Role Overview

As part of the SAP Consulting Energy & Utilities practice, you will design, implement, and support Production & Revenue Accounting (PRA) solutions, working closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional SAP teams, and global delivery centers.

Required Experience & Skills

Functional Expertise

• 815 years of overall SAP experience
• 5+ years of hands-on SAP PRA implementation/support experience
• Strong understanding of Upstream Oil & Gas processes
• Experience in minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementations
• Strong knowledge of:
• Production Accounting
• Revenue Allocation
• Joint Interest Billing (JIB) integration
• Royalty calculations

Technical & Integration Knowledge

• Strong understanding of SAP FI integration (GL postings, revenue recognition)
• Exposure to data migration tools and interfaces (IDOCs, flat files)
• Experience in S/4HANA Oil & Gas transformation projects (preferred)
• Basic ABAP debugging skills (good to have)

Professional & Leadership Competencies

• Demonstrates accountability and integrity
• Strong business acumen across the Oil & Gas value chain
• Deep SAP PRA configuration expertise
• Ability to work across global teams and time zones
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field
• MBA / CA / CPA (preferred)
• SAP Certification in FI / IS-Oil (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Solution Delivery

• Lead workshops to gather and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into SAP PRA functional designs
• Configure SAP PRA components including:
• Division of Interest (DOI)
• Production allocation
• Revenue distribution & settlement
• Ownership changes
• Ensure compliance with royalty and regulatory requirements
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare activities
• Provide production support and issue resolution

2. Cross-Functional Integration

• Collaborate with SAP FI, CO, JVA, MM, and SD teams
• Ensure seamless integration with Joint Venture Accounting
• Validate revenue postings to General Ledger
• Support reconciliation between PRA subledger and FI

3. Governance & Documentation

• Prepare and maintain Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
• Maintain configuration and test documentation
• Adhere to project governance, quality, and risk frameworks
• Support audit and compliance reviews

4. Leadership & Team Contribution

• Mentor junior consultants and analysts
• Contribute to knowledge repositories and reusable assets
• Support pre-sales activities (RFPs, estimations, demos)
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
