Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, log, categorize, prioritize, and manage SAP PP incidents raised by business users through tickets, emails, and calls.
• Perform initial incident analysis , reproduce issues, and identify root causes related to PP master data, configuration , or integration with MM, SD, QM, and WM/EWM .
• Provide timely resolutions or effective workarounds within agreed SLAs and ensure tickets are updated with clear functional and technical analysis.
• Handle incidents across core SAP PP processes , including:
• BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions
• MRP, planned orders, process/production orders
• Capacity planning, confirmations, and settlements
• Support integration-related issues involving material availability, reservations, goods movements, batch management, and shop-floor execution.
• Coordinate with business key users to clarify requirements, support testing of fixes, and validate incidents in QA/UAT environments.
• Prepare incident analysis reports and KPIs , including ticket volumes, SLA compliance, recurring issues, and recommend preventive actions.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles, SOPs, and FAQs to minimize repeat incidents and improve support efficiency.
• Participate in minor enhancements, change requests, and transport management related to SAP PP.
• Provide support during month-end and year-end production closing activities from an incident management perspective.
• Ensure compliance with organizational incident and change management processes .

Required Skills & Experience

Functional & Technical Skills

• Strong functional and configuration knowledge of SAP PP (Discrete Manufacturing) , including:
• Order creation, release, confirmation, and settlement
• Demand Management
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP basics, MRP results)
• Collective orders and major planning strategies
• Printing and output management for production documents
• Subcontracting scenarios
• Production Order Information Systems
• EDI / IDoc integration
• Good understanding of SAP PP integration with MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, and CO , especially from an incident-resolution standpoint.
