Location:

• Chennai (Onsite) First 3 months
• Africa (Onsite) Next 3 months

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Experience Required: Minimum 4+ years in SAP PM

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant to support implementation, enhancement, and operational activities across a hybrid location engagement. The consultant will work onsite in Chennai initially, followed by deployment to Africa for the remaining contract duration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP PM configuration, customization, and end-to-end process implementation.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Provide expertise in Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Work Orders, Notifications, Task Lists, and Maintenance Plans.
• Support integration with other SAP modules (MM, PP, QM, FI/CO).
• Conduct workshops, training, and knowledge transfer sessions for users.
• Perform system testing (Unit, Integration, UAT) and resolve defects.
• Deliver functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with ABAP teams.
• Handle production issues, troubleshoot errors, and ensure smooth business operations.
• Prepare documentation including process flows, configuration documents, and test scripts.
• Assist in go-live preparation, cutover activities, and postgo-live support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP PM.
• Proven experience in SAP PM configuration and support activities.
• Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules.
• Experience working in onsite/offshore delivery model preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite in Africa for part of the assignment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in S/4HANA Environment.
• Exposure to Global Template Rollouts.
• Prior international deployment experience.
