Job Description:

Role Summary:

The SAP PI/PO Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, monitoring, and supporting integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Process Integration / Process Orchestration (PI/PO). The role involves close collaboration with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure reliable and efficient system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure SAP PI/PO interfaces (A2A and B2B scenarios).
• Work with various adapters such as IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, File, SFTP, JDBC, and Proxy.
• Develop and enhance mappings using graphical mapping, Java mapping, UDF, and XSLT.
• Configure ESR (Enterprise Service Repository) and Integration Directory objects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants from SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, QM, and FICO.
• Handle performance tuning, error handling, and message reprocessing.
• Support transports across landscapes (DEV, QA, PRD).
• Prepare technical design documents and interface specifications.
• Provide production support and participate in incident and problem management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP PI/PO (7.x) integration architecture.
• Hands-on experience with ESR, Integration Directory configuration, and communication channels.
• Good understanding of SAP ALE/IDoc, RFC, and Proxy frameworks.
• Experience integrating SAP with third-party and cloud applications.
• Knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, REST, and JSON.
• Basic ABAP debugging skills for interface-related issues.
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM is a plus.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration / Integration Suite).
• Experience in EDI and B2B integrations with adapters like AS2 and EDIFACT.
• Knowledge of SAP PO BPM and BRM.
• Understanding of security concepts such as certificates, SSL, and OAuth.
