SAP PI/PO Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PO (Process Orchestration) Consultant to join our team for a client engagement. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of relevant experience in SAP PI/PO and integration technologies, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience working in customer-facing roles.

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and support interfaces using SAP PO 7.5 or higher (Dual Stack / Single Stack as applicable)
• Work on integration scenarios involving SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., IDoc, Proxy, SOAP, REST, SFTP, JDBC, etc.)
• Configure and monitor Integration Builder (ESR & ID) and System Landscape Directory (SLD)
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather and understand integration requirements
• Provide support for production issues and participate in performance tuning and interface optimizations
• Ensure high-quality documentation of design, development, and testing activities
• Work directly with clients/stakeholders and manage communication effectively
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, deliverables, and coding standards

Required Skills:

• 46 years of hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO (7.5 preferred)
• Good understanding of XML, XSLT, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and API management
• Experience with message mappings, Java mappings, and UDFs
• Strong knowledge of Integration Patterns and interface architecture
• Basic knowledge of SAP ABAP for debugging and coordination
• Experience with B2B Add-on , Adapters (SFTP, REST, IDoc, SOAP, etc.)
• Good exposure to Alert Configuration , NWA monitoring , and performance tuning

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Client-facing experience with strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• SAP PO certification (optional but preferred)
