SAP PEO Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Engineering & Operations (PEO) professional to design, implement, and support manufacturing execution and engineering processes within SAP Digital Manufacturing. The role focuses on integrating engineering, production planning, and shop-floor execution to improve operational efficiency, quality, and traceability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement SAP PEO solutions to support manufacturing engineering and production execution

Model and maintain manufacturing master data (BOMs, routings, operations, work instructions)

Integrate PEO with SAP S/4HANA modules such as PP, QM, MM, EWM, and PM

Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and IT teams to gather and translate business requirements

Support production order execution, change management, and engineering change control

Enable and optimize shop-floor processes including sequencing, dispatching, and real-time visibility

Perform system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and support go-live and hypercare

Troubleshoot issues, provide production support, and drive continuous improvement

Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and user training materials

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience with SAP PEO (Production Engineering & Operations)

Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete, repetitive, or process manufacturing)

Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing

Knowledge of MES concepts and shop-floor integration

Experience with production master data, routings, work centers, and operations

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing (DMC / DM)

Integration experience with third-party MES or shop-floor systems

SAP certification in Manufacturing or Digital Supply Chain

Experience in automotive, aerospace, high-tech, or industrial manufacturing.
