Role Overview

An SAP MMLE Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP solutions related to Materials Management (MM) and Logistics Execution (LE) modules. The consultant works closely with business stakeholders to optimize procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes within the SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and implement SAP MM and LE modules based on business requirements.
• Work with business teams to analyze procurement, warehouse, and logistics processes.
• Configure key MM components such as:
• Purchasing
• Inventory Management
• Material Master
• Vendor Master
• Invoice Verification
• Configure Logistics Execution (LE) processes including:
• Shipping
• Transportation
• Delivery processing
• Warehouse integration
• Handle integration with other SAP modules such as:
• SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
• SAP FI (Finance)
• SAP WM/EWM (Warehouse Management)
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with ABAP teams.
• Perform system testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
• Provide production support and issue resolution for MM/LE related tickets.
• Assist in data migration, master data setup, and cutover activities.
• Prepare documentation, training materials, and conduct user training sessions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP MM and Logistics Execution (LE) modules.
• Expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
• Good understanding of:
• Inventory management
• Warehouse processes
• Shipping and delivery management
• Experience in integration with SAP SD, FI, and WM/EWM modules.
• Knowledge of IDocs, batch management, and output determination.
• Experience in S/4HANA environments is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP MM/LE consulting experience (adjust based on requirement).
• At least 3-4 end-to-end SAP implementation projects preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of EDI integrations and third-party logistics systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
