SAP MDG Technical Lead

Position Title: SAP MDG Technical Lead Developer / Integration Expert / Techno-Functional Expert

Location: Pan India

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MDG Technical Lead Developer & Integration Expert with strong techno-functional expertise to design, develop, and deliver innovative solutions in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). The ideal candidate will lead technical development, oversee integration with SAP and non-SAP systems, and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable solutions.

This role requires both deep technical mastery (ABAP, BRF+, BADI/BAPI, WebDynpro/FPM, workflow, integration technologies, SOA, cloud integration) and functional expertise (MDG domains such as Business Partner, Material, Finance, Vendor, Customer).

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science , Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of SAP development experience, with at least 5+ years dedicated to SAP MDG .
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• ABAP, BRF+, FPM/UI, Workflow, BADIs/BAPIs, OData services
• MDG Data Modeling, Data Replication Framework (DRF), and Rule-based workflows
• Expertise in integrating MDG with SAP ECC/S/4 HANA and external applications .
• Deep understanding of Master Data domains (BP, Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance).
• Experience with SAP PI/PO, CPI, IDocs, Web services, ALE, RFC .
• Strong techno-functional background with ability to bridge business and IT.
• Proven leadership skills in managing technical teams, offshore/onshore coordination, and mentoring developers.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP MDG Certification .
• Experience in S/4 HANA MDG implementations and migrations.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality tools, and MDM best practices .
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery models .
• Experience with cloud integrations and API management .
