Hiring: SAP MDG-M Consultant / Developer

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG-M (Master Data Governance Material) Consultant/Developer with strong expertise in OData services, system integrations, and material master data management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and enhancing SAP MDG-M solutions, integrating external engineering systems, and ensuring high-quality master data governance.

Key Responsibilities

SAP MDG-M Development & Enhancements

• Design, develop, and expand OData-based services in SAP MDG-M environment.
• Implement extensions and enhancements within the MDG-M framework.
• Develop and maintain custom services and applications to support master data governance processes.

System Integration

• Integrate external systems such as VAULT, Open PDM, and other engineering platforms with SAP MDG-M.
• Implement REST APIs to enable seamless communication between SAP and external systems.
• Ensure reliable and scalable system-to-system data exchange.

Master Data Management

• Analyze, process, and harmonize Material Master Data across systems.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are maintained.
• Support initiatives for master data standardization and optimization.

Testing & Optimization

• Support testing activities, defect analysis, and issue resolution within the MDG-M environment.
• Optimize existing services and data processes for performance and scalability.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture teams, and related IT teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and functional improvements.
• Participate in design discussions and solution architecture reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

12+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP MDG-M

Experience developing OData services within SAP environments

Hands-on experience implementing REST APIs for integrations

Strong knowledge of Material Master Data governance and harmonization

Experience integrating engineering systems such as VAULT, Open PDM, or similar PLM platforms

Experience in testing, debugging, and optimization in MDG environments

Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred Profile

• Experience working in large enterprise SAP landscapes
• Strong understanding of SAP integration frameworks and architecture
• Ability to work in cross-functional and international teams
