SAP Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective MDM strategies.
• Design and implement MDM solutions using SAP tools like SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) and other modelling tools like Anaplan
• Configure data models, workflows, and cleansing rules within the MDM system.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across various SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, HCM).
• Collaborate with business users and IT teams for data migration, integration, and syndication.
• Develop and maintain documentation for MDM processes and configurations
• Stay up to date on SAP MDM best practices and emerging technologies.

Profile

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree with a major in IT/Computer Science/ Engineering
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management.
• Strong understanding of SAP MDM tools and methodologies (e.g., SAP MDG, SAP Data Services).
• Proficiency in SAP modules and data structures. The Master data structures for Material Management, Sales, Logistics, Production, Inventory, Purchasing and other relevant modules
• MDM : Must have working experience with Material Master maintenance
• MDM : Must have working experience with Customer and Vendor Master
• MDM : Must have working experience with Finance and Controlling data(GL, Cost Center, Etc)
• Implement MDM for our clients by providing recommendations for Naming convention, Data quality rules and Data classification
• Knowledge of Hybrid data modelling approach (Use 3NF (Third Normal Form) for transactional data to ensure data integrity and minimize redundancy).
• S4 Hana : Must have Logistic consultant experience
• Should know process flow
• Should know how to configure
• S4 Hana: Must have working experience in S4 Hana system
• MDM and S4 Hana: Must involved in interface design
• MDM and S4 Hana: Must have working experience with IDoc interface to external system
• Between MDM and S4 Hana
• Other system is an added advantage
• MDM and S4 Hana: Must have level 1 support experience
• Implementation experience is an added advantage .
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across departments
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
