SAP IS Oil consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP IS-Oil Downstream Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Contracts, Pricing, Exchanges, Transportation, TSW, and Logistics processes.

Client: IBM

Endclient: Shell

Experience: 7+ years

Notice period: Immediate joiner

Key Responsibilities

• Work on SAP IS-Oil Downstream modules including:
• Customer/Vendor Contracts, Quotes & Pricing
• Quantity Conversions & Hydrocarbon Product Management
• Exchanges, Netting & Logical Inventory Adjustments
• Transportation & Distribution, Shipment Costing & Planning
• TSW Ticketing & Nominations
• Excise Duty handling
• Stock Reconciliation & Valuation
• Logistics Invoice Verification & Workflow
• Gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Provide functional solutions, configuration, and support during deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and virtual teams throughout project phases.
• Perform basic ABAP debugging and understand technical logic when required.
• Ensure timely delivery with high quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Key Skills & Competencies

• 7+ years of functional experience in SAP IS-Oil Downstream , plus 3+ years in SAP MM .
• 23 S/4HANA Greenfield/Brownfield implementation projects (majority experience in implementations over support).
• Strong understanding of SAP IS-Oil processes across Contracts, TSW, Transportation, Valuation, and Logistics.
• Techno-functional skills (Basic ABAP debugging & code interpretation).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in structured, fast-paced environments with some uncertainty.
• Excellent communication skills (spoken & written English).
• Experience working in IT/application and data-driven projects.

Education

• Full-time/Regular Bachelors degree (mandatory).
