Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a SAP HANA Database Administrator with expertise in Python and Ansible scripting. The position is based in Hyderabad, allowing for a combination of on-site and remote work. Key responsibilities include managing and designing database systems, scripting automation tasks, troubleshooting issues, managing database replication, and ensuring optimal database performance and reliability.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in SQL queries, Shell/Bash scripting

Ansible automation, and solid working knowledge of SAP HANA databases

This role involves database support, automation of operational tasks, performance tuning, and deployment scripting

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts. Write and maintain Shell and Bash scripts for automation of database maintenance and system tasks.
• Develop and manage automation playbooks using Ansible for deployment and configuration management.
• Convert existing scripts from Bash to Ansible.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards. What You bring
• Bachelor/masters degree in computer science or related field.
• Over 6-9 years of experience in scripting and database support roles.
• Expertise in SQL scripting. Hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration and support.
• Experience working with SAP Sybase (ASE/Sybase IQ) databases is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting. Experience in Ansible automation.
• Experience in python and having experience in creating Ansible Modules is an added Advantage.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments.
