We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Database Administrator to join our team for an exciting onsite engagement.

Job Description & Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of SAP HANA system architecture
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Hands-on experience in SAP HANA installation & administration
• Experience with HANA 2.0 MDC installation (end-to-end)
• HANA version upgrades (HANA 1.0 to HANA 2.0)
• Backup maintenance using Backint, recovery & Point-in-Time Recovery (MDC & Non-MDC)
• Start/Stop HANA DB (Single & Multi-tenant) during maintenance windows
• HANA monitoring & alert handling using HANA Studio
• License application, audit log management & trace enablement
• Performance monitoring, health checks, and parameter configuration
• Troubleshooting backup, memory, CPU, and performance issues
• Incident handling (P1 & P2) with timely resolution
• DB client upgrades and trace file analysis

Role & Responsibilities

• Technical incident, change, service & problem management
• Installation, patching, and upgrade activities
• Performance tuning, backup, restore & recovery procedures
• Ensure high availability & disaster recovery setup
• Optimize system operations and architecture
• Participate in migration projects & process improvements
• Knowledge sharing, documentation & global collaboration
• Conduct workshops/trainings and mentor juniors
• Strong analytical skills with customer-focused mindset
