Job Title : SAP GTS Consultant

Experience : 8 - 10 Years

Location : Chennai/ Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

Functional Areas:

Lead end-to-end implementation of GTS modules: Compliance Management, Customs Management, Trade Preference, and Embargo Screening
Gather and translate business requirements into SAP configurations; conduct workshops and stakeholder sessions
Ensure global trade compliance (SPL, licensing, embargoes) and monitor regulatory changes
Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for development
Conduct system testing, support UAT, and manage go-live activities
Provide training and documentation to end-users and support teams
Troubleshoot system issues, optimize processes, and deliver continuous improvements

Technical (if Techno-Functional / Technical role):

Lead technical design and integration for GTS solutions (ABAP on HANA, CDS, OData, Fiori, workflows, interfaces)
Develop custom enhancements: BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, debugging Standard SAP code
Manage data migration and integrationGreenfield, Brownfield, or rollouts
Ensure alignment with security, data protection, and compliance requirements

Key Skills

Functional Skills:

SAP GTS modules: Compliance, Customs, Trade Preference, Intrastat
Knowledge of international trade regulations, export/import procedures, customs processes
Experience integrating GTS with ECC/S/4HANA, MM, SD, FICO
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
Functional documentation: requirements, test cases, training materials

Technical Skills (for Techno-Functional role):

ABAP on HANA, Core Data Services (CDS), AMDPs, OData services, NetWeaver Gateway
Fiori apps, BDC, BAPI, enhancements, interface programming
Experience with data migration, APC, debugging, and performance optimization

SAP GTS Consultant
