Role Overview

The consultant will be responsible for implementing and integrating SAP sustainability solutions including:

• SAP Sustainability Control Tower
• SAP Sustainability Footprint Management
• SAP Green Ledger
• SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) integration

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and configure SAP Sustainability & Green Ledger solutions
• Design and manage carbon footprint calculations (Scope 1, 2 & 3)
• Integrate sustainability data with SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Enable ESG reporting aligned with global standards (GRI, CSRD, IFRS Sustainability)
• Support carbon accounting and financial impact tracking
• Perform system testing, validation, and go-live activities
• Work with Finance, ESG, and IT teams for seamless data flow
• Provide post-implementation support and optimization

Required Skills

• 5+ years SAP experience with strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO preferred)
• Hands-on experience in SAP Sustainability solutions
• Experience in SAP Sustainability Footprint Management (carbon calculations)
• Knowledge of ESG compliance & sustainability reporting frameworks
• Understanding of product and corporate carbon footprint methodologies
• Strong data integration and analytics capabilities

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud for ESG dashboards
• Background in sustainability consulting / green finance
• SAP certification in Sustainability or Finance

Qualification

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, IT, Environmental Science, or related field
• Relevant SAP certifications preferred
