Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and experienced SAP Fiori/UI5 Developer with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 frontend development. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ABAP, enabling seamless collaboration with ABAP developers to create integrated, high-performance applications. This role requires expertise in designing, developing, and deploying Fiori applications to deliver enhanced user experiences and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop user-friendly, responsive, and intuitive Fiori applications using SAP UI5.

Collaborate closely with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality Fiori applications that meet business needs.

Work with SAP Gateway and OData services to integrate Fiori applications with backend systems.

Create custom Fiori/UI5 applications based on business requirements and SAP Best Practices.

Leverage ABAP for backend integration, data retrieval, and business logic in Fiori applications.

Design and implement user interfaces for various SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD, FI/CO) and integrate with backend systems via OData services.

Work on SAP Fiori launchpad, custom tiles, and Fiori configuration to deliver a seamless user experience.

Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of UI5 applications.

Ensure high-performance Fiori applications through optimization techniques and effective use of SAP HANA and ABAP functionalities.

Document application development and deployment procedures, including design specifications, testing results, and user manuals.

Provide post-go-live support and enhancements to Fiori applications based on user feedback and evolving business requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.

Strong knowledge of SAP UI5, SAP Fiori design principles, SAP Fiori Interaction Floorplan and Fiori applications development.

Experience with consumption of SAP Gateway and OData services to integrate Fiori apps with SAP backend systems.

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for UI5 application development.

Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its Fiori UI strategy.

Experience in creating and configuring custom tiles on SAP Fiori Launchpad.

Knowledge of SAP Web IDE for UI5/Fiori development and deployment.

Experience with testing and performance optimization of UI5 applications.

Strong understanding of SAPs security framework for Fiori applications (e.g., roles, authorizations, and Fiori Launchpad).

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams to ensure a seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

Desirable:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and implementation projects

Exposure to development of CDS Views in ECC/S4 HANA would be advantage

Knowledge in ODATA service development with use of ABAP and ability to debug the Backend ABAP code to analyse issues would be desired

Overview of CAPM for full stack development and its integration with UI5

Experience with Fiori 2.0 and UI5 libraries for responsive design.

Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP Fiori Cloud solutions.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Good understanding of ABAP for developing custom backend logic and integrating data for Fiori applications.
