The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Joining our ERP/SAP S4 HANA Run Support Organization as SAP Fiori CAPM Development Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

This role will be critical to secure seamless ERP Operations across all globally deployed S4 HANA and adjacent application capabilities globally. You will become part of our IT team which is centered in our Global Capability Center in Bangalore India which will scale significantly as we are deploying our new ERP S4 based ecosystems of solutions across the world.

We are looking for IT Subject Matter Experts in ORDER, SOURCE, PLAN, MAKE, DELIVER, and FINANCE business processes including Master Data Management, SAP eCommerce Cloud, 3rd party Integrations using SAP BTP and other integration technologies with an excellent technical background in SAP S4 HANA, BTP, Vistex, Ariba, IBP, TM, EHS, GTS, OpenText, etc.

Solventum follows a cloud first approach to provision IT solutions. Our SAP environment is provided through RISE for SAP.

The role will require a combination of strong CAPM framework skills with Fiori/UI5 Development.

• JavaScript / Node.js: Proficiency in building server-side applications using Node.js, the primary runtime environment for CAP.
• SAPUI5/Fiori: Experience in building front-end applications integrated with CAP services.
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript: General web development skills for UI customization.
• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP): Experience with SAP BTP services, extensions, and cloud foundry development environments.
• SQL: Knowledge of SQL and relational database constructs, query optimization, and SQL scripting.
• OData Services: Strong understanding and Proficiency in designing and implementing OData V4/V2 services.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with continuous integration and deployment processes for CAP applications.
• Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for cloud-native deployments.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Analyze, trouble shoot and provide technical fixes for incidents impacting the operation of the Solventum ERP platforms.
• Monitoring the ERP system to identify any issues or anomalies, investigate and troubleshoot system errors, performance bottlenecks, and other technical problems.
• Collaborate with other teams (such as Basis administrators, Security and developers) to resolve issues promptly.
• Handle incoming incidents and service requests related, prioritize, and categorize incidents based on their impact and urgency and provide timely resolution or escalate to higher-level support if needed.
• Assist in applying patches, updates, and upgrades to the ERP system where applicable and ensure that the system is up to date with the latest fixes and enhancements, collaborate with Software vendors and SaaS providers.
• Manage user roles and authorizations and ensure compliance with security policies and access controls.
• Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures and generate regular reports on system health, incidents, and performance metrics.
• Depending on your SAP S4 RUN experience you will provide those services on Level 2 or Level 3 ad therefore also have the potential to grow within our team alongside with your increasing experience.
• Coordinate with developers for customizations, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Participate in testing and validation of changes. Assist in managing system changes, transports, and transports approvals.
• Ensure proper change control processes are followed.

Your Skills and Expertise  

• To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field  
• Minimum of 3 years prior SAP ERP support experience
• Certifications specific to the SAP S4 modules or boundary solutions as listed above

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience working with (or for) SAP, Certified Partners, Managed Services providers or System Integrators
• Experience in a multi-national large company – preferably in Life Sciences
• Work experience in a customer SAP ERP Center of Expertise
• Understanding of ERP best practices in process design, configuration, and development
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and team collaboration skills.
