SAP FICO Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong functional expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementations, client-facing consulting exposure, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP FI Financial Accounting

• Configure and support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Financial Closing
• Design and maintain Chart of Accounts, Fiscal Year Variants, Posting Periods, Document Types, and Financial Statements
• Handle Indian statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Withholding Tax
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Ensure smooth FI integration with MM, SD, PP, and HR
• Resolve production issues and provide post-go-live support

SAP CO Controlling

• Configure and support:
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing
• CO-PA (Profitability Analysis)
• Implement cost allocations, assessments, distributions, and settlements
• Support management reporting, cost analysis, and profitability insights

SAP S/4HANA Responsibilities

• Experience with S/4HANA Finance, including:
• Universal Journal
• New Asset Accounting
• Business Partner concept
• Migration from ECC to S/4HANA
• Participate in S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and system conversions
• Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, and reports

Client & Project Engagement

• Conduct business requirement gathering and solution workshops
• Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and documentation
• Lead or support UAT, training, and knowledge transfer
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 611 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience
• Strong knowledge of FI and CO configuration
• Experience in at least 12 end-to-end SAP implementations
• Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Strong understanding of Indian taxation and statutory compliance
• Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have:

• SAP FICO or S/4HANA Finance certification
• Experience in global rollouts or multi-country implementations
• Knowledge of Fiori apps and embedded analytics
• Exposure to SAP Treasury or Group Reporting
