Title: Senior SAP FI / FICA Specialist

Role:

The Senior SAP FI / FICA Specialist will be responsible for designing and configuring SAP Finance solutions within complex enterprise environments. The role focuses on financial architecture, global template setup, and implementation of SAP FICA / BRIM solutions while ensuring seamless integration with other SAP and external systems. The position also requires close collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable SAP finance solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design and setup of SAP Finance global templates, including enterprise structure and global organization design.
• Configure key SAP FI components such as Company Codes, Controlling Areas, Operating Concerns, and Chart of Accounts.
• Manage the financial framework configuration including ledgers, currencies, segments, fiscal year variants, and posting periods.
• Define and maintain financial master data and hierarchies, including Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders, and Account Groups.
• Configure Asset Accounting, including chart of depreciation, depreciation areas, and asset classes.
• Participate in SAP RISE (Private Cloud Edition) implementations, including Explore phase workshops to define enterprise standards.
• Deliver full lifecycle implementations of SAP FICA or BRIM / Convergent Invoicing, including system design and deployment.
• Ensure proper integration of high-volume billing data into SAP General Ledger through digital interfaces.
• Provide expertise across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting processes.
• Configure and support Bank Communication Management (BCM) and complex intercompany accounting processes.
• Support Controlling and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) to enable financial reporting and business insights.
• Manage integration between SAP FI and external systems, including payment gateways and legacy platforms.
• Communicate technical solutions to business stakeholders and lead decision-making discussions.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI configuration and financial architecture design.
• Expertise in SAP FICA or BRIM / Convergent Invoicing implementation.
• Deep knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
• Experience configuring organizational structures and financial frameworks in SAP.
• Hands-on exposure to SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with SAP RISE Private Cloud implementations.
• Strong knowledge of CO-PA (Controlling and Profitability Analysis).
• Understanding of financial data flows and integration with digital systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Bank Communication Management (BCM).
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting processes.
• Experience integrating SAP FI with legacy systems and payment gateways.
• Exposure to high-volume billing systems and digital billing interfaces.
• Experience leading SAP workshops and finance transformation initiatives.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP finance architecture decisions.
