SAP Development Manager

Job Purpose:

The SAP Development Manager is responsible for leading a team of developers to design, build, and implement SAP solutions that meet business requirements and drive operational efficiency. With a focus on quality and innovation, the Development Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of SAP developers to deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines.
• Define and drive the SAP development strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members.
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and plan development activities.
• Manage budget, resources, and deliverables to meet project milestones.
• Stay updated on latest SAP technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements.
• Define KPIs, track performance metrics, and report on project progress to senior management.
• Resolve technical issues, escalations, and risks in a timely manner.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP certification preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP development.
• Experience leading a team of software developers.
• Strong understanding of SAP technologies and integration processes.
• Proven track record of successful project implementations.

Skills:

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud Platform.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong project management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
