Required Qualifications

Education

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial) or Operations / Manufacturing Management

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing (PP) Certification
• SAP Quality Management (QM) Certification Good to have

Role Summary

Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) Greenfield implementation for multi-plant manufacturing organizations, ensuring standardized production, quality, and compliance processes with seamless cross-module integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA PPQM Greenfield implementation across multiple plants and company codes
• Configure and optimize PP modules including Master Data (BOM, Work Center, Routing), MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control
• Configure QM processes such as Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspection, inspection plans, quality notifications, and results recording
• Design and implement make-to-stock, make-to-order, subcontracting, and repetitive manufacturing scenarios
• Integrate PPQM with MM (procurement & GR inspection), SD (delivery & billing quality), and FI/CO (settlement & variances)
• Support batch management, traceability, shelf life, and quality compliance requirements
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate RICEFW developments with technical teams
• Lead UAT, cutover planning, data migration (materials, BOMs, routings), go-live, and hypercare support
• Establish and enforce standardized production and quality processes across plants and entities

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PP and QM, including Business Partnervendor integration impacts
• Proven experience in Greenfield manufacturing implementations with multi-plant environments
• In-depth knowledge of MRP strategies, production types, capacity planning, and order settlement
• Strong understanding of quality inspection types, usage decisions, defects, and corrective actions
• Experience in batch management, serial numbers, and compliance-driven manufacturing
• Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, FI/CO, and third-party manufacturing systems
• Working knowledge of data migration tools (LSMW / Migration Cockpit) and S/4HANA best practices

Soft Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to lead discussions with plant heads, production, and quality teams
• Experience mentoring junior consultants and coordinating cross-functional teams
