SAP Commerce Cloud Technical Development

ROLE SUMMARY

Responsible for technical delivery of medium to high complexity SAP Commerce Cloud development.  Mentor and lead onsite and offshore SAP Commerce Cloud developers in the design and development of interfaces, reports, and custom applications.  Duties include working with business clients to translate complex business requirements and processes for diverse development platforms and computing environments; coordinating project activities with business clients and other IT organizations; and acting as an expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development process. Manage project deliverables and plans using project management skills and tools.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for managing SAP Commerce Cloud deployments, continuous improvement enhancements and projects

• Lead the design and development of complex SAP Commerce Cloud applications.

• Develop Commerce Cloud & Java/JEE applications.

• Participate in the full lifecycle development of software, including analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, documentation, deployment, and support.

• SAP CPI integration experience with Commerce Cloud

• Review the technical design and code delivered by developers (on and offshore), for quality and efficiency.

• Ensure that the technical development deliverables adhere to Pfizer’s development standards, processes and methodologies

• Collaborate with Functional, Site teams to gather requirements, estimate effort and resources, and develop appropriate timelines for project completion. 

• Effectively communicate information to the team leads and ensure that the project is completed to the client’s satisfaction.

• Manage both onsite and offshore contractors assigned to development tasks

• Perform code reviews, ensuring the team is consistently producing optimal code.

• Promote core solutions strategy

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or related field.

• 9+ years of Commerce Cloud Technical Working and/or Commerce Cloud Technical Management experience

• 6+ years of Project/Program Management experience

• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills

• SAP /Commerce Cloud Delivery experience

• Strong understanding of Commerce Cloud & Java/JEE Development, Configuration, Testing and Release Management processes

• Strong knowledge of the Commerce Cloud Architecture and System Design

• Strong Commerce Cloud functional knowledge

• Strong Commerce Cloud and SAP and related technologies background

• Project/program management knowledge & skills

• Proficient in SAP Order to Cash process including Sales Order Management, Delivery Processing, Invoicing, and Accounts Receivable
