Job Description SAP Convergent Mediation (SAP CM)

Overview

SAP Convergent Mediation, powered by DigitalRoute, is a component of the SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) suite. It acts as a data orchestration layer that collects, transforms, and routes usage data from various technical systems to downstream billing components like SAP Convergent Charging and SAP Convergent Invoicing. In O2C process it plays a key role in capturing usage events, transforming them into chargeable items and fwding them for rating and invoicing.

Implementation & Lifecycle Management

Lead the implementation of the Convergent Mediation system, managing the full lifecycle from booking data processing through convergent invoicing, FICA, and FIGL. Solid working knowledge of Convergent Charging and Convergent Invoice processes.

• Knowledge in the full BRIM flow, including SAP SOM, SAP CM, SAP CC, and SAP CI is desired
• SAP BRIM expertise, especially in modules like Convergent Charging and Invoicing.
• Experience with workflow design and agent configuration in the Mediation GUI.
• Knowledge of integration protocols (e.g., BAIF, SM37 job monitoring).
• Scripting and data transformation skills for customizing workflows.
• Understanding of middleware and data orchestration principles
• Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with ELS and regulatory licenses, especially within the EEA (Swiss, UK) and US jurisdictions
• Data Processing & Accuracy
• Utilize Convergent Mediation to hold and process data efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with Integration teams and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of the Convergent Mediation system
• Issue Resolution
• Proactively address and resolve issues related to payment processing, ensuring hotel partners receive payments promptly
• Training & Documentation
• Provide training and create documentation for end users and support teams to ensure smooth adoption and ongoing support

Qualifications

• Experience
• Proven experience in financial services, payment processing, or a related field. Prior exposure to Convergent Mediation systems is highly desirable
• Technical Knowledge
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the EEA and US, and experience with SAP BRIM, FICA, and FIGL systems
