SAP C4C Technical Consultant

Job Description:

Technical Design & Development

• Design, develop, and deploy custom extensions in SAP C4C using SDK (PDI) and ABSL scripting.
• Implement custom BOs (Business Objects), UI enhancements, custom fields, business logic, and actions.
• Develop integration logic using OData, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Build and maintain custom UI components using SAP UI5 and SAP Build Apps (Low Code/No Code).
• Work on event-based integrations and data extensions leveraging SAP BTP Event Mesh.

Integration & Extensibility

• Design and implement integrations between C4C and S/4HANA, SAP CPI, non-SAP systems, and other SAP CX applications.
• Use OData services and SAP CAPM (Cloud Application Programming Model) to build scalable microservices for extensions.
• Develop and expose APIs securely using SAP API Management on BTP.
• Configure and enhance communication arrangements, web service bindings, and data replication mechanisms.

Performance Optimization & Maintenance

• Debug and troubleshoot PDI / SDK components and ABSL scripts.
• Optimize queries, web service calls, and data flows for performance and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews, technical validations, and unit testing to ensure best practices.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical design documents (TDDs), integration flow diagrams, and deployment guides.
• Support UAT, Go-Live, and hypercare activities post-deployment.
• Provide knowledge transfer sessions to client IT or support teams.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Core Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) Version 1 and Version 2 SDK (PDI / ABSL / UI Designer).
• Solid understanding of C4C Data Model, Business Objects, and Extension Scenarios.
• Proficiency in ABSL, UI Designer, and Cloud Studio development environment.
• Expertise in OData and REST API design and consumption.
• Experience developing custom microservices using SAP CAPM (Node.js / Java) on SAP BTP.
• Familiarity with SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, and BTP Workflow Service.
• Experience integrating C4C with SAP S/4HANA, SAP CPI, or third-party systems using SOAP / OData services.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in SDK and CPI integrations.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

• Experience with SAP UI5 / Fiori Elements for extending UI in C4C or BTP.
• Hands-on with SAP Event Mesh, API Management, and Destination services on BTP.
• Understanding of SAP Identity Authentication (IAS) and Identity Provisioning (IPS) for secure access.
• Familiarity with SAP Service Cloud Version 2 or Sales Cloud V2 architecture.
