Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and building SAP BW solutions.
- Strong experience with:
- SAP BW Extractors
- DSOs
- Cubes
- Multiproviders
- Proven experience in data extraction and developing integration from SAP BW to Azure Data Lake.
- Experience in configuration of batch jobs and scheduling/monitoring frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize BW/HANA models, including:
- ADSOs
- Composite Providers
- Transformations
- Open ODS Views
- BEx Queries
- HANA calculation views
Support data extraction from SAP BW (P23, P38, P80, P94) into Azure Data Lake using established ingestion frameworks and ADF pipelines, following Data Lake SOPs.
Troubleshoot:
- Ingestion failures
- Data quality issues
- ADF pipeline errors
- Conflicts or availability issues in BW data
Create required design documents based on requirements:
- Technical Specifications
- Data Flow Diagrams
- Joining Documents
- Testing Documents for Technical Validations
- Evaluate existing data load timings and optimize process chains to ensure reliable, on time delivery of data to business users across all regions.
